Win a coaching clinic at our new stadium
We are offering local rugby clubs the chance to win a one-off coaching clinic with Edinburgh Rugby's senior coaching and support staff, in the club's brand new stadium.
Head Coach Richard Cockerill plus Assistant Coaches Duncan Hodge, Calum MacRae, and Steve Lawrie will all be on hand to deliver a professional rugby experience to help the winning club bounce back from the pandemic and kickstart their preparations for the new season.
The opportunity is open to around 30-35 players (plus club coaches) on the evening of Thursday 22 July (6.30pm – 8pm) and is intended for senior rugby sides at any level – with separate activities for junior players planned later in the summer.
The selected club will be the first 'visiting' team to set foot on the new surface at the club’s new ground, which is set to be launched officially later in the summer.
The club’s backroom team will also provide their support, with the strength and conditioning team managing the warm-up and the analysts providing session feedback for the club to take away and consider in the summer ahead.
Edinburgh Rugby Head Coach, Richard Cockerill, said: “We know there’ll be a lot of clubs getting their preparations underway this summer, so we thought this was a great way to open up the new stadium to the rugby community.
“It'll be a top-to-bottom coaching session with the full Edinburgh Rugby coaching and backroom team and we plan to put a lot of energy into making it as meaningful and valuable to the winning club as possible.
“We want to hear about the great things clubs have done locally during the pandemic, as well as their ambitions for the season ahead, and reward that with some professional coaching advice and support going into an important season."
