Watson nominated for Six Nations Player of the Championship
Edinburgh Rugby and Scotland star Hamish Watson has been rewarded for his outstanding Guinness Six Nations campaign with a nomination for Player of the Championship.
The openside flanker made 321 metres, 67 carries - the second most any player in the tournament - broke 14 tackles, and contributed heavily on the defensive side with 55 tackles - five of which were dominant.
On top of that, Watson did not concede a single penalty in the Championship, a feat matched only by Iain Henderson of players with at least four turnovers.
