Edinburgh Rugby wishes to provide the following ticketing update to supporters.
Due to the evolving nature of current guidance and the rapid spread of Omicron and the impact it has had, and can have, on our fixtures, the club is still working to provide further ticketing information regarding both the postponed 1872 Cup derby and this weekend’s Cardiff Rugby match.
The club wishes to assure supporters that more information will be forthcoming in due course, including clarity on both Cardiff Rugby and 1872 Cup fixtures, as well as further details on how any cancellation or postponements will affect all match ticket purchasers and 2021/22 Season Ticket or Half Season Ticket Members.
In addition, we are in dialogue with the United Rugby Championship over the rescheduling of the postponed 1872 Cup fixtures and will provide more information in due course - purchased tickets for these games will be valid for the rescheduled dates.
The club continues to prepare for this Saturday’s (8 January) United Rugby Championship fixture against Cardiff Rugby at DAM Health Stadium, which, per current Scottish Government guidance, will be played for all intents and purposes spectator-free.
At this stage, this is the only home game impacted by the current government guidance. This guidance is expected to be lifted on Monday 17 January, though is subject to review.
At present, crowds are anticipated for our home EPCR Challenge Cup fixtures against Brive on Friday 21 January and Pau on w/o 8 April. Those games remain on public sale.
Thank you for your continued patience as we work through these challenges.
