Rescheduled 1872 Cup derby confirmed
Guinness PRO14 have confirmed that the club's rescheduled Round 9 fixture against Glasgow Warriors will take place at Scotstoun Stadium this Saturday night (16 January, kick-off 5.15pm).
The 1872 Cup fixture was originally rescheduled to take place last weekend, but was postponed due to a frozen playing surface at Scotstoun.
However, following this week's temporary suspension of the Heineken Champions Cup, it has allowed the fixture to be rescheduled for this Saturday night, with Edinburgh Rugby set to once again travel West to Scotstoun for a 5.15pm kick-off.
A win in Glasgow would see Richard Cockerill's side lift the 1872 Cup for the fourth straight season. The match will once again be live on Premier Sports.
