Remaining PRO14 fixtures confirmed
Guinness PRO14 have today confirmed the club’s fixtures for Rounds 12-16.
Richard Cockerill’s side will have three straight home fixtures (Munster, Scarlets, Benetton), before finishing the campaign with two road games against Connacht and Cardiff Blues.
All match-ups are against Conference B opposition and live on Premier Sports, while the capital side are still to face Dragons at Rodney Parade on Friday 12 February in the rescheduled Round 7 encounter.
Edinburgh Rugby return to action on Saturday 20 February (kick-off 7.35pm) and host Munster at BT Murrayfield for the first time since the club’s Champions Cup Quarter-Final in 2019.
Supporters can look forward to a lunchtime kick-off the following weekend as Edinburgh face Scarlets at BT Murrayfield (Saturday 27 February, kick-off 12 noon), before Benetton come to town on Sunday 7 March (kick-off 3.15pm) in Round 14.
The capital side will then close out the season with back-to-back away fixtures, travelling to Galway to face Connacht on Saturday 13 March (kick-off 7.35pm), and finally Cardiff Blues at Cardiff Arms Park on Monday 22 March (kick-off 8pm).
PRO14 Rugby can confirm that no Play-off games will be required for European qualification and that rankings after Round 16 will be used to determine which teams will participate in next season’s Heineken Champions Cup once EPCR have confirmed the format.
Edinburgh Rugby and Glasgow Warriors are currently considering options for a third and final 1872 Cup contest this season in order to complete the three-game derby series, currently tied on one game apiece.
