Record-breaking 3000 Season Ticket Memberships surpassed
Edinburgh Rugby supporters have continued to snap up Season Ticket Memberships in unprecedented numbers as the capital club today surpassed the 3000-mark, smashing the previous record of 2,646 in 2019/20.
As anticipation continues to build for Edinburgh Rugby’s inaugural season in its new purpose-built home, and the launch of the newly formed United Rugby Championship, the record-breaking sales – achieved just one week into the public sale – highlight the passion and excitement for what is set to be a memorable 2021/22 campaign.
With great seats and standing terrace spaces still available in the Lothian (standing only), Riverside and Murrayfield stands, bringing you closer to the action than ever before, the club is encouraging supporters to secure their Season Ticket Memberships now to avoid missing out, with the stadium already well over a third of capacity.
Reacting to the record-breaking sales, Edinburgh Rugby Managing Director Douglas Struth, said: “The support shown by our fans in these of opening weeks of Season Ticket Membership renewals and sales has been nothing short of incredible.
“To surpass the 3000-mark at this early stage, three months out from the start of the season, really highlights the growing, passionate support we have at Edinburgh Rugby. It really adds to the excitement for what is set to be celebratory season of rugby in so many ways.
“We want to create a cauldron of noise in our new home and, with fans packing out the stands in record-breaking numbers, we’re off to a great start.”

The new stadium footprint features categories around the ground to suit every budget, in fully reserved seating or standing terraces, all closer to the action than ever before.
All categories give fans access to all regular season home games (nine league matches and two European Challenge Cup pool rounds) and access to two pre-season friendlies.
The new pricing structure ensures 50% of the adult Season Ticket Membership offering is available for around the same price as last season, with an affordable entry point.
Membership categories save fans around 20-30% of corresponding match-day prices, with direct debit options again available to help spread the cost in as many as four monthly instalments (if bought before Monday 19 July and three if bought before Thursday 19 August).
The easiest way to renew or purchase memberships is online. We recommend fans ensure they can login to their online ticketing account in advance of their sale period.
