PRO14 fixtures announced for 2019/20
Edinburgh will begin the season at home for the first time since 2015 as Richard Cockerill’s side open the new campaign against Zebre at BT Murrayfield on Saturday 28 September (kick-off 7.35pm).
The capital side are on the road for five of the opening eight rounds, but supporters have home fixtures against Scarlets (Saturday 26 October, kick-off 7.35pm) and Dragons (Friday 8 November, kick-off 7.35pm) to look forward to before December’s festive 1872 Cup games.
Following the opening leg at Scotstoun on Saturday 21 December, the capital side take on age-old rivals Glasgow Warriors at BT Murrayfield a week later (Saturday 28 December, kick-off 3pm) in a match that is sure to get hearts racing ahead of Hogmanay.
Edinburgh will once again kick start the New Year against Southern Kings at BT Murrayfield on Saturday 4 January (kick-off 7.45pm) before a home double-header sees both Connacht (Friday 21 February, kick-off 7.35pm) and Cardiff Blues (Friday 28 February, kick-off 7.35pm) visit the capital in February.
The capital side travel to South Africa in March, before returning to BT Murrayfield in April to take on both Benetton (Friday 10 April, kick-off 7.35pm) and Ospreys (Friday 24 April, kick-off 7.35pm) in two crucial end-of-season encounters.
Edinburgh will face a rematch of last season’s Heineken Champions Cup Quarter-Final as Munster come to town on Saturday 9 May (kick-off 5.30pm) before concluding the 2019/20 Guinness PRO14 regular season against Glasgow Warriors at BT Murrayfield in the 1872 Cup third leg on Saturday 30 May.
