Crosbie added to Scotland's Six Nations squad
Scotland Head Coach Gregor Townsend has today added uncapped back-row Luke Crosbie to the Scotland squad for the upcoming Guinness Six Nations.
Crosbie – who featured from the bench in Edinburgh’s Heineken Champions Cup Quarter-Final clinching win over Montpellier last Friday night – has today been included in the squad alongside Glasgow Warriors trio Rob Harley, Matt Smith and Alex Dunbar.
Crosbie, 21, has played a pivotal role from Edinburgh’s bench in the capital side’s seven-match winning run since returning from injury in December and the Livingston RFC product is today rewarded for his return to form.
Dropping out of the squad is Hamish Watson, who returns to his club for treatment on a hand injury sustained in Friday night’s Heineken Champions Cup win over Montpellier.
Scotland begin their 2019 Guinness Six Nations campaign against Italy at BT Murrayfield on Saturday 2 February (kick-off 2.15pm).
