STORY OF THE MATCH
Edinburgh will look to build on a hugely positive 2019-20 campaign under Richard Cockerill which saw the capital side finish at the summit of Conference B.
And while defeat to Ulster in the Semi-Finals took the gloss off an otherwise strong season, the future looks bright for the club as we welcome Ospreys in the final game of Round 1.
The Welsh region only won twice in the Guinness PRO14 last term but with the likes of Alun Wyn Jones and Justin Tipuric in their ranks, Toby Booth will be keen to get off to a quick start.
LAST TIME OUT
The two sides haven't met in the PRO14 since the opening game of 2018-19 - which saw the Welsh side claim a 17-13 win at the Liberty Stadium - however Edinburgh hosted Ospreys in last season's pre-season, with the full highlights below:
