TEAM NEWS

Scotland winger Darcy Graham returns as one of 14 internationalists selected in the capital side’s starting XV which also includes seven changes to the group that claimed a famous European victory against Saracens a fortnight ago.

Recently re-signed Academy graduate Cammy Hutchison is selected at inside centre, while a refreshed half-back combination sees scrum-half Henry Pyrgos paired with stand-off Jaco van der Walt, who returns from injury to make his first start since October.

Three further changes are made to the pack as Fijian international Lee-Roy Atalifo gets the nod at tighthead prop, Scotland cap Jamie Hodgson is named at lock and Magnus Bradbury starts at number 8.

OVERALL URC RECORD

Played 42, Glasgow won 22, Edinburgh won 19 with 1 match drawn.

STORY OF THE MATCH

Edinburgh have made a stunning start to the URC season under new coach Mike Blair and sit second, just a point behind leaders Leinster, after five wins and a draw from seven games.

The capital side's only loss was a one-point reversal at Benetton, but they are now seeking a third successive away win in the league for the first time since 2009.

Glasgow Warriors will hope home advantage can guide them to an 1872 Cup victory over their rivals having lost just one of their last eight fixtures at this venue.

The Warriors shade the head-to-head record by 22 wins to 19, with one draw, and have beaten Edinburgh in their previous three matches - their best run since 2014.
