Glen Moray donate kit branding to It’s Good 2 Give
Edinburgh Rugby’s Official Charity Partner, It’s Good 2 Give, will feature on the team’s playing shorts in both of this season’s Challenge Cup fixtures in France, with the space generously donated by the club’s Official Whisky Partner, Glen Moray.
With Edinburgh set to open their Challenge Cup campaign away to Agen this weekend, Glen Moray – who, due to French national laws are unable to advertise on kit – have given up their branding space to the local charity, who this seasoned partnered with the club.
The shorts will also be worn when Edinburgh travel to face Bordeaux-Begles at Stade Jacques Chaban Delmas in January’s round five fixture.
Glen Moray’s UK Marketing Manager, Kirsty Mainprize, said: “We’re really proud to donate Glen Moray’s space to the It’s Good 2 Give logo. It’ so important to raise awareness of the great work the local charity do in supporting children and their families throughout Scotland.”
Lynne McNicoll, Co-Founder and Chair of It’s Good 2 Give, said “We are delighted to have been offered the branding space on Edinburgh Rugby’s European kit by Glen Moray.
“This is a very generous offer and we are excited to have this amazing opportunity to take the charity in to Europe! We wish the team all the best in the European Challenge Cup, the whole charity will be cheering on the team.”
Edinburgh travel to face Agen at Stade Armandie in round one the Challenge Cup this Friday night (kick-off 7pm GMT, 8pm local) – live on BBC Radio Scotland.
