Fanzones at the ready for 1872 Cup!
The DAM Health Stadium Fanzone will reopen as part of next Saturday’s match-day footprint for the decisive 1872 Cup derby against Glasgow Warriors (Saturday 21 May, kick-off 6.30pm).
Thousands of fans have already secured their place at BT Murrayfield Stadium for one of the most hotly anticipated 1872 Cup derbies in the professional era, as the two sides go head-to-head for much more than intercity bragging rights on the final day of the regular URC season.
With fans filing into both sides of the national stadium, the club will once again host Fanzones at the east and west sides of the ground.
The DAM Health Stadium fanzone (west) is a familiar and popular feature for supporters of the capital club at its new ground and will feature live music before and after the match, on top of a diverse range of food and beverage units around the estate.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to soak up the big match atmosphere as tensions mounts for a match which sees with the 1872 Cup, Scottish x Italian Shield, Champions Cup qualification AND URC Quarter-Final seeding all on the line.
Supporters can also look forward to a host of activity around the ground and on the big screens with lots of giveaways in the lead-in to the big game.
