Edinburgh Rugby extends JBC partnership

​Edinburgh Rugby today extended its partnership with JBC Nutrition who will continue as the club’s Official Performance Nutrition Partner for the following season.

The renewed partnership will see JBC Nutrition continue to provide the Edinburgh Rugby squad with a wide range of leading sports nutrition products designed specifically for athletes to support them at all stages of their sporting activity for a fifth year.

JBC has also taken title sponsorship of the club’s ‘Peak Performer’ digital content series, which showcases the best stats from the team’s leading performer each week, and will continue to be featured on the back of the team's playing shorts.

JBC – who also partner English Championship side QPR and IBF World Champion Lee Selby – provide a wide a range of supplements that are designed, formulated and manufactured for both pre and post-match recovery.

With the team currently training and playing in the heat of South Africa, the use of JBC’s products has never been more important, giving the players the best chance to perform in tricky conditions.

JBC Sales Director Gareth Clarke said: “We are delighted to continue our long-standing partnership with Edinburgh Rugby and provide the team with bespoke products to help them perform and recover both on and off the pitch.

Edinburgh Rugby Head of Strength & Conditioning, Mark Robertson, said: “We use JBC Nutrition’s products every day, be that before training, during a session and afterwards to aid recovery.

“This makes JBC absolutely pivotal in providing our players with the opportunity to train and perform to the best of their ability over the course of a taxing campaign, and we’re seeing the products being put to good use while we’re out here in South Africa.”
