Virtual stadium tour unveiled
Edinburgh Rugby is delighted to unveil a 360° virtual walk-through of the club’s new stadium, allowing fans to view our new home, from home, for the first time.
The Google Street-View style tour allows supporters to choose their route across the pitch and through all four stands at the club’s brand new 7,800-capacity stadium, while Covid-19 restrictions continue to rule out large gatherings.
The club hopes the tour will offer an insight into the stadium’s look and feel and allow supporters time to consider the various views from around the ground ahead of season tickets going on sale in the coming weeks.
With high demand for season tickets anticipated, the club has opened a ‘register your interest’ page where fans can sign-up for updates on 2021-22 ticket sales ahead of their launch.
Edinburgh Rugby Managing Director, Douglas Struth, said: “We’re delighted to take this exciting step and share with supporters the inside of the new stadium in a way they won’t have been able to see it before.
“The virtual tour gives a great insight into the intimacy of our new, compact ground and allows supporters time to digest the layout, stands and various views, as well as just take a good look around while Covid restrictions remain in place ahead of our season ticket launch.
“We’re expecting high demand for season tickets so wanted to communicate some detail early, as well as sign-post the upcoming launch so fans can secure their seats at our new home.”
