Edinburgh begin Challenge Cup campaign in Agen
Edinburgh will begin their 2019/20 European Challenge Cup campaign away to Agen on Friday 15 November (kick-off 8pm local time) as the dates and kick-off times for the pool stages of the competition were today confirmed.
The capital side’s first home match of the campaign sees Bordeaux-Begles visit BT Murrayfield on Friday 22 November (kick-off 7.35pm), with European action returning under the lights in the capital.
December brings a cross-border derby as two-times European champions Wasps come to town on Friday 6 December (kick-off 7.35pm).
Head Coach Richard Cockerill then returns to his hometown the following weekend as Edinburgh take on Wasps at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on Saturday 14 December (kick-off 3pm).

Supporters have a trip to Bordeaux to look forward to in January as Edinburgh travel to the Stade Jacques Chaban Delmas on Saturday 11 January (kick-off 2pm local time).
The capital side then return to home comforts with Agen the visitors to BT Murrayfield on Saturday 18 January (kick-off 3pm) in Edinburgh’s final pool stage fixture.
Edinburgh will be looking for further success in the Challenge Cup. The capital club reached the final of the tournament in 2014/15, while their last appearance in the competition in 2017/18 saw the club reach the Quarter-Final stages.
