Gamble joins London Scottish on short-term loan
Edinburgh Rugby Academy prop Dan Gamble has joined RFU Championship side London Scottish on a short-term loan deal.
Gamble, 20, came through the ranks at Kelso RFC before joining the FOSROC Scottish Rugby Academy and has represented Scotland at U18 and U20 levels.
He made his Edinburgh Rugby debut as a replacement in the 17-0 victory against Cardiff Rugby in November 2020 and has made three appearances for the capital side.
The tighthead will remain registered in Edinburgh Rugby’s European squad.
Head Coach Mike Blair said: “This is a great opportunity for Dan to get some game time under his belt.
“He is a great prospect and playing against senior championship players will serve him well in his development. It’s a move that benefits both us and the player.”
