Edinburgh Rugby Fans’ Night to celebrate return of capital support

Edinburgh Rugby will celebrate the return of supporters with 'Fans Night' at next Friday’s vital EPCR Challenge Cup clash against Brive (kick-off 8pm).

As Edinburgh prepare to play in front of the capital support for the first time since facing Benetton in early December – with last weekend’s win against Cardiff played in front of no spectators – the Friday night European contest will celebrate the return of fans and pay tribute to those who do so much to back the club.

Backed by Main Club Partner Scottish Building Society, a number of initiatives on the night – including the chance to win prizes for all attending – will make Fans’ Night all about you, our loyal supporters, with last weekend’s behind-closed-doors clash a reminder sport is nothing without those cheering on in the stands and terraces.

All those attending the EPCR Challenge Cup clash at DAM Health Stadium can look forward to:

  • A complimentary £5 food voucher for the first 100 supporters in the ground
  • Flags for the first 500 supporters through the gate >> among which 100 will be pre-signed by the Edinburgh squad!!
  • Automatic entry into the Scottish Building Society half-time giveaway - prizes include a signed home shirt, a signed training jersey, a signed match ball, a Burgh Juniors Membership and a Half-Season Ticket Membership - winners will be announced at half-time
  • The chance to get your fan clips on the big screen both before the match and at half-time
  • The chance to feature in our matchday programme
  • Special Fan Zone activations

Edinburgh Rugby Managing Director, Douglas Struth, said: “With Edinburgh Rugby Fans’ Night, we aim to celebrate the return of supporters in the stands on what will be a massive evening of European rugby.

“All of us at the club recognise we’re nothing without our supporters, so this is our way of saying thanks and paying tribute to the fans who have backed us throughout a really challenging two-year period.

“We can’t wait to welcome supporters back to DAM Health Stadium; the noise and atmosphere they create will truly make the difference in once again turning our home into a fortress.”

Act fast and book your place for our return to European rugby! Tickets for the match are on sale now and start at £5 for under-18s and £20 for adults and included in the Season and Half-Season Ticket Membership.
