Edinburgh Rugby statement on General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
The EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) will apply from 25 May 2018. From that date, GDPR will be implemented in the UK by the Data Protection Bill (replacing the Data Protection Act 1998). This represents one of the most important changes in data privacy regulation in 20 years and is designed to better protect your privacy and provide you with more awareness of the personal information that is being collected from or about you, why it is being collected, how it is being used and who it is being shared with (and why).
