Fosroc Scottish Rugby Academy graduate Callum Hunter-Hill joined the club in the summer of 2017 following a successful age-grade career which saw him skipper Scotland U20.

A product of Stewart’s Melville College, Hunter-Hill made his Scotland U20 debut in the side’s historic win over England in the 2016 Six Nations and eventually made 19 appearances – five as captain – for the age-grade side.

During his time in the Fosroc Sport Academy, the lock made several reserve appearances for both Edinburgh and their counterparts in the west, before signing his first professional deal in 2017.

The former Stirling County captain made his Edinburgh debut from the bench in the 48-21 victory over Southern Kings in December 2017 before joining English Premiership outfit Newcastle Falcons on a short-term deal in January 2018.

Hunter-Hill was a key man during the 2018/19 campaign with both starting locks Grant Gilchrist and Ben Toolis on international duty, while his leadership in the pack was integral to home wins over Scarlets and Dragons.
