Electric fullback Blair Kinghorn joined his hometown team in May 2015 and has developed into one of the club's most exciting backline talents in recent history.
Kinghorn signed his first professional deal on his return from taking part in the World Rugby U20 Championship in Italy in the summer of 2015.
He made his professional debut, off the bench, in the 70th minute of Edinburgh round five Guinness PRO12 match against Zebre and scored his first try in the 45-10 victory over Treviso during the 2016/17 season.
Kinghorn enjoyed a breakout 2017/18 season under Head Coach Richard Cockerill as the fullback finished the PRO14 campaign with the most metres gained in the league.
The Edinburgh Acadamy product was rewarded for his fine form with a call up to the Scotlnd squad during the 2018 Six Nations, scoring a try on his first start against Ireland. Kinghorn then made history in 2019 when he scored Scotland's first Six Nations hat-trick since 1989 in the 33-20 victory over Italy.
Kinghorn signed a contract extension keeping him in the capital until at least 2021.
