The club has played at a number of different venues across the city over the years. The build of the new stadium signifies a new and permanent home for the club.
This will become the hub for all news and information regarding the new stadium.
Parking during the build of the new stadium
Due to the build of our new stadium there is no on-site parking available for Season Ticket and Business Club Members.
Is there any Blue Badge Parking at BT Murrayfield?Blue Badge parking is available in the West Stand Car Park as usual. Access will now be via the Riversdale Bridge and Gate D as Saughtonhall Bridge will be closed for the duration of the stadium build. Blue Badge parking operates on a first come, first serve basis. If you have any questions, please contact the Ticket Centre by emailing [email protected].
Why only 7,800?
We believe that at this stage in the club’s growth, the proposed capacity of 7,800 is the correct size for Edinburgh Rugby.
When a crowd reaches 7,800 for a game, it will be a sell-out. This is a position we have not been in for a number of years, and will no doubt create a match-day atmosphere that we look forward to our fans being able to enjoy.
For games such as the 1872 Cup, where crowds are far higher than the 7,800 capacity, we still have the ability to move into the main bowl of BT Murrayfield should the need arise.
