Elite development player, Samuel Peter Hidalgo-Clyne, will specialise in international sevens for the 2011/12 season and will be available for selection at the capital club outwith the World Series playing and training windows.
Born in Granada, Spain and he previously plyed his trade at Merchiston Castle School.
Hidalgo-Clyne represented Scotland U17 last year in both the fly-half and scrum-half role and competed in the Wellington International Festival playing in the side that defeated England and Canada and lost to France.
A quality player whether with ball in hand or off the boot, Edinburgh Rugby are hoping Hidalgo-Clyne’s development continues on his current path.
He represented Edinburgh at under-16 and under-17 levels and Scotland at under-17.
