After moving from the Netherlands (where he played for RC Hilversum) to England, Sep Visser joined the Newcastle Falcons Academy and went on to represent the Falcons in the Middlesex Sevens Tournament in 2007.

He remained in Kingston Park until 2009 when he joined Tynedale RFC, moving north to play for Boroughmuir and Edinburgh Rugby in the summer of 2011.
