Black and Red Radio caught up with Edinburgh Rugby centre Nick De Luca ahead of what he describes as the biggest game of his club rugby career.
This Sunday Edinburgh Rugby face London Irish at Murrayfield with a chance to put a Scottish club among Europe’s elite, in the quarter-finals of the Heineken Cup (kick-off 3.15pm).
The club made it four wins from five with a 27-24 win over Racing Metro in Paris to share the top spot with Cardiff Blues on 17 points with Edinburgh needing to fair better in round six than the Welshmen to guarantee a place in the last eight – though a win could still be enough to go through as one of the two best runner-ups.
Edinburgh face an Irish Exile side with designs on the Amlin Challenge Cup and a point to prove about the quality of their side – a quality which shone though in their 34-14 demolition of Racing Metro in Paris.
