Edinburgh Rugby today confirmed that Allan Jacobsen and Tim Visser have won the club’s Hotel Du Vin / Malmaison player of the month awards for October and November.

In October, Visser saw off stiff competition from September winner of Lee Jones, to pick up the award with some trademark try-scoring performances.
Long-serving loose-head prop Allan ‘chunk’ Jacobsen has been a rock for the capital club, turning out 180 times for Edinburgh since his debut against ACT Brumbies in 1997 however he put in an exceptional month in November, even by the cult figure’s famed standards.
