Multimedia: The new site has enhanced Black & Red Video, Radio and Gallery modules which mean that you can watch or listen to the latest club news without leaving the home page and without tiresome page loads!

Edinburgh Tekkers: Showcasing the club’s interactive function is the latest supporter challenge ‘Edinburgh Tekkers’. Kick-started by Argentine lock Esteban Lozada, the players’ filmed feats have now be uploaded on to the club’s website, laying down the skills gauntlet to fellow players and supporters alike. Anyone wishing submit a skilful effort can upload their ‘Edinburgh Tekkers’ on to www.edinburghrugby.org for a chance to feature in an online skills montage on the website and on the big screens at the club’s forthcoming RaboDirect PRO12 and Heineken Cup matches. Go to www.edinburghrugby.org/tekkers to watch the players’ entry from Lozada, Jim Thompson and Chris Leck.
Dedicated pages for Edinburgh Rugby home matches tell you all you need to know about your next match at Murrayfield, including the latest and archived news, audio and video that relate to the fixture, an opposition-specific action gallery, the latest scores between the sides and all the match-specific travel and FAQs – just click through the opponents list at the top of the page or add the team name to our web address e.g www.edinburghrugby.org/treviso. What's more, is that our travel information page (www.edinburghrugby.org/matchday/travel) carries the live twiiter feed from Edinburgh Travel giving live travel updates right here on the site!
A lot of you already know that Edinburgh Rugby is socially networked on twitter ‘@edinrugbyclub’ on facebook ‘Edinburgh Rugby (official)’ and on our YouTube channel ‘EdinburghRugbyTV’. The new site allows us to carry the very latest tweets, updates and socially networked banter right here on the home page. Its integration with these three mediums allow you to share, like and comment on the latest Edinburgh Rugby news in an instant.
One request that’s been common amongst supporters is the need for more in-depth player biographies. Extra images have been uploaded (and will be updated throughout the season) and extended profiles have been produced for all our players, with more to information still to come! We’ll soon finish an extensive stats project which we’ve been working on behind the scenes in the close season. Once complete, you’ll have access to everything you need to know (and more!) about your favourite Edinburgh Rugby players.
