Edinburgh No.8 Stuart McInally has been giving his eve-of-battle take on the second part of this season’s Greaves Sports 1872 Cup double-header against Glasgow Warriors.

The age-old rivals clash for the second time in six days at Murrayfield on Sunday, with kick-off at 5.35pm.

McInally has been named among the Edinburgh replacements for the game, and is in line to sample the unique atmosphere of the inter-city derby for the first time as a player.

In an exclusive video interview with www.edinburghrugby.org, the 20-year-old said: “I’ve watched these games on the TV and in the crowd, and it really makes you want to be a part of them.

“You can see the great rivalry there is: the competition between the two teams is just great. It’s something that every professional player in Scotland wants to be involved in.

“The two games are a highlight in the Scottish rugby season – it’s a great spectacle for every supporter in the country to watch. This weekend there will be players competing for Scotland places as well, so the fans can expect a really exciting game.”

Tickets for Sunday’s game are available online at www.edinburghrugby.org, by calling 0131 346 5180 or by visiting the Murrayfield Ticket Centre (off Roseburn Street) in person.

Tickets can be reserved online until 3pm on the day of the game, with the Ticket Centre open from 3pm for collections and match-day sales.
