Stand by with your sunglasses: it’s that time of year again. Edinburgh’s annual limited edition jersey, specially designed for the forthcoming Greaves Sports 1872 Cup derbies against Glasgow Warriors, will go on sale at the Scottish Rugby Store on Wednesday afternoon.

The shirt, as outlandish and edgy as ever, is the brain child of our new kit suppliers Macron, who put on their stylish Italian thinking caps and came up with this striking camouflage-themed top.

Edinburgh will wear it into battle in both legs of the Magners League double-header against our friends from the west, with the first game taking place at Firhill on Monday 27 December (kick-off 5.35pm) and the Murrayfield return played on Sunday 2 January 2011 (kick-off 5.35pm).

The jersey will be on sale from Wednesday afternoon at the Scottish Rugby Store, situated beneath the west stand at Murrayfield. It will also be available online, via Greaves Sports, the title sponsor of the 1872 Cup and Scottish Rugby’s official retail partner.

Forget what to wear to your Christmas party – be a real trend setter and get your hands on the Edinburgh 1872 Cup jersey!

Fans coming to Sunday’s Heineken Cup clash with Castres at Murrayfield can pop into the Scottish Rugby Store before or after the game to get themselves kitted out. If you can’t wait that long, click HERE to buy the shirt online (from Wednesday).
