Edinburgh Rugby players Lee Jones and Matt Scott today congratulated Edinburgh City Council employee, Fiona McGowan, after she was selected as the club’s season ticket prize winner.
The prize draw of all season tickets sold to date means that Fiona can entertain nine of her family and friends at one of the club’s 2011/12 Heineken Cup pool matches against either Racing Metro 92, Cardiff Blues or London Irish.

An avid rugby fan, McGowan, a road safety engineer, signed up for her first commitment to the capital club last season and explained why it’s important that more supporters come back to the club and bring friends along too.
She said: “It’s a great way to spend an evening or afternoon watching rugby. Edinburgh have a good team with some quality players and the atmosphere at Murrayfield is really enjoyable.”
