Dates, kick-off times and TV details have been confirmed for Edinburgh’s games in Rounds 19-22 of the Magners League regular season.
Nick Scrivener’s side have Murrayfield dates against Cardiff Blues (Friday 4 March, kick-off 7.30pm) and Ospreys (Saturday 26 March, kick-off 6.30pm) before heading into the four-match schedule announced by Celtic Rugby today.
The first of the newly-confirmed fixtures sees Edinburgh travel to Galway to face Connacht on Friday 1 April (kick-off 7.45pm). After that is a Murrayfield clash with Aironi on Friday 15 April (kick-off 7.50pm, live on BBC ALBA).
The following Friday, 22 April, Welsh cracks Dragons visit the Scottish capital (kick-off 7.30pm). This will be Edinburgh’s last home fixture of the regular season, which concludes with a trip to Italy to play Benetton Treviso on Friday 6 May (kick-off 7.05pm UK time, 8.05pm local time).
Interim head coach Scrivener told www.edinburghrugby.org: “We’ve got six big tests ahead of us as we make that final push in the Magners League regular season.
“Four of those games are at Murrayfield, and we need to take full advantage of that, getting some good results on the board for ourselves and for our supporters.
“It’s a vitally important couple of months for everyone at the club, and there’s a real desire around the place to finish the campaign in a strong and positive fashion.”
