In the latest edition of Black and Red Radio new Edinburgh Rugby lock Sean Cox speaks to the club on the switch from the Premiership to the PRO12, regular Heineken Cup rugby and how he plans to bring his set-piece expertise to Murrayfield.
He said: "In the Premiership, as a tight-five forward, your scrum and your lineout are your bread and butter so that's what I consider my primary job to be, to deliver the ball to the backs and see how many tries they can score. Playing in a different division and playing a slightly different style of rugby will hopefully develop my game and enable me to add a few more strings to my bow but I won't let that compromise the experience that I do have which is primarily about winning the ball."
Up to ten under 18s can cheer on the capital club for free with every paying adult, as Edinburgh take on Alan Tait’s Newcastle Falcons at Murrayfield on Friday 26 August (kick-off 7.30pm). Free U18s do not require a ticket. Tickets for adults are priced at: £10 (adults) and £5 (students and senior citizens). GET IN THERE! |
