Edinburgh Rugby Club today announced that David Bishop has left the club at the end of his three-month contract.
The Welsh centre, who previously saw service with Newport Gwent Dragons, Sale Sharks, Ospreys and Celtic Warriors, arrived in the Scottish capital last October on a short term deal and made two appearances for Rob Moffat’s team.
The Edinburgh head coach today thanked Bishop for his contribution, saying: “David is a good professional and gave a good account of himself during his time at the club.
“He hasn’t had much luck with injuries in the last few years, but he’s a talented player who is willing to work hard. I’d like to wish him all the best for the future.”
