New Edinburgh captain Roddy Grant on Tuesday represented the club at the Magners League Season Launch in Cardiff. The flanker, who the previous night had attended the inaugural Magners League Awards ceremony as a nominee for the Young Player of the Season prize ultimately won by teammate Tim Visser, was interviewed at the Millennium Stadium by media from Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales before settling down to talk to Black and Red Radio about life as skipper, Edinburgh's success at the Awards, and his excitement about leading the team out for the first time at Murrayfield against London Irish on Friday night (kick-off 7.30pm).
