Edinburgh tonight take on Munster in their first home Magners League game of the new campaign. The match, which kicks off at 7.05pm, gives Rob Moffat’s side the chance to repeat the 12-7 success they recorded in the corresponding fixture last October.
Chris Paterson, who captains the team this evening in the absence of injury-victim Roddy Grant, scored all of Edinburgh’s points that night. He has not appeared in a competitive fixture at Murrayfield since suffering a kidney injury back in February, and is sure to receive a warm welcome from the black and red army.
Esteban Lozada will make his competitive debut in the second row, while Mark Robertson, Ross Rennie and Scott Newlands all get their first starts of the season.
Anyone still requiring tickets for the fixture should call at the Murrayfield Ticket Centre, located off Roseburn Street. The Ticket Centre will be open from 9am on Friday. Adult tickets purchased on match day cost £20, while students and OAPs will pay £10 and under-18s £5.

Tonight’s match is to be shown live on BBC ALBA. Viewers will find the channel on Sky 168, Freesat 110, and BBC iPlayer (where footage will be available for seven days after the game). Roddy Grant will be providing pitchside analysis during the broadcast.
