Edinburgh head coach Rob Moffat and wing Lee Jones tonight reflected on the 49-21 pre-season friendly loss to Bath at the Recreation Ground. Speaking exclusively to Black and Red Radio on www.edinburghrugby.org, the pair were in agreement that, although disappointed with the defeat, Edinburgh could take encouragement from their performance in what was their first full outing of the new campaign.

Jones and fellow back three men Tim Visser and Tom Brown were in oustanding form, the Dutchman being denied another hat-trick only by the referee's call that he had knocked on in the act of touching down from his own chip-and-chase on the half hour while Brown weighed in with a score of his own on his first senior Edinburgh appearance.

The black and red army were vocally represented in the west country, but all eyes are now on Murrayfield as London Irish roll into town for Friday's glamour friendly (kick-off 7.30pm). CLICK HERE to buy tickets, priced just £10 for adults and £5 for under-18s and concessions.
