ImageEdinburgh Rugby Club's friendly match against Georgia on Tuesday evening was unfortunately abandoned on the 25 minute mark following floodlight failure after a powercut in the local area.

At that point in the match, Edinburgh were comfortably 19-0 ahead courtesy of two tries from Ross Rennie and a score from Greig Laidlaw with David Blair adding two conversions.

But the match was then abandoned after the powercut. Edinburgh Rugby Club unreservedly apologises for any inconvenience caused to our supporters who attended the match at Meggetland and supporters who paid for admission are advised to keep their tickets (or proof of purchase) in order to qualify for a full refund.
