Edinburgh Rugby Club are pleased to announce the introduction of their Legends Lounge Pass ahead of the new season.
The Legends Lounge Pass provides supporters with the opportunity to experience hospitality at Murrayfield stadium for a great price, as well as the opportunity to interact with the players, both current and former, who have worn the Edinburgh jersey.
As part of their continuing growth, Edinburgh are currently tracking down all the players who have made appearances for the club, and all of these have been invited to the first game of the new season. As the season progresses, the Edinburgh legends will also be in attendance at the stadium, and those who purchase the Legends Lounge passes will be able to chat to the guys before every home match.
The Edinburgh Rugby end of season dinner last season saw 40 “Legends” attend which chief executive Nic Cartwright, believes is a positive and encouraging start.
Cartwright said: “We are building the club. We are making sure that we make our club one that is inclusive and one that people have a real attachment to.
“Anyone who has played for the Club will be welcome back at Murrayfield. These chaps will also add to the match day event, and we are sure that our supporters will enjoy seeing their old favourites on match day.
“Our Legends Lounge Pass is designed to offer those supporters who want a little but more on a match day, exactly what they want – we are sure that the attraction of close contact with the Legends (and also the current players) together with the great range of benefits shown will encourage our supporters to sign up”.
The Legends Lounge Pass (which is priced at £150 per person) includes the following benefits –
Entry into Legends Lounge pre all 12 home Games Entry into Post Match Players Lounge (*)
Free “Pie and a Pint” on arrival at each game
Priority Car Park Pass (**)
Note – does not include a Match ticket, which is required to enter the stadium - either as a Season Ticket or a match ticket on an individual basis.

Gavin Hastings, Edinburgh’s chairman and “Legend” said: “It was great to see so many old faces at the dinner, and it will be even better to see even more at Murrayfield next season. As we continue to grow the Club, it is initiatives such as these that will see real growth in the Club. I would urge supporters to “upgrade” to the Legends Lounge Pass and join in.”
The Legends Lounge Pass can also be purchased as part of an “Executive Season Ticket” – priced at £300. Lindsey Geddes, Edinburgh Sales Manager, noted that she had high hopes this would attract local companies to get involved with the Club.
“We have some very high profile opponents, the facilities at Murrayfield are world class, and the service is great. I am sure the public of Edinburgh will see real value and I am in discussion with lots of local companies keen to join up.”
