1872 Cup finale to be hosted at Scotstoun

Next season’s 1872 Cup will once again be contested over three rounds, with Scotstoun now hosting the final match of the series, as a Glasgow Warriors home match, on the last day of the regular Guinness PRO14 season following a review by Scottish Rugby of operational and logistical elements.

With an increased capacity set to be in place at Scotstoun for the fixture, the match will continue to form part of the Edinburgh Season Ticket Membership package. Supporters who have already purchased their Membership for next year will receive a letter in the post in the coming days.

Any Season Ticket Members who are unable to travel to the match in Glasgow or simply do not wish to attend, will be offered an additional ticket to any home Edinburgh match of their choice in 2018/19. Details of how to redeem your ticket for the final 1872 Cup match in Glasgow (or an alternative Edinburgh home game) will be communicated in due course.

The festive double-header at BT Murrayfield and Scotstoun respectively will remain over the 2018/19 Christmas and New Year period.
