Please arrive early at the stadium to fully benefit from the facilities on offer and to be in good time for kick-off. The Murrayfield Ticket Centre (located off Roseburn Street) is generally open two hours before kick-off for match-day sales and collections.

Q: I have an adult concession ticket and find I need it upgraded to a full adult ticket – how can I do this?

A: Please go to the Ticket Centre and they will be able to assist you.

Q: Can I buy tickets on the day?

A: Yes.  Tickets can be purchased at the Murrayfield Ticket Centre which is located to the East of the Main Entrance, off Roseburn Street.  Ticket Centre is open 9am – 5pm, Monday – Friday. On Friday match nights the Ticket Centre will remain open until half-time.  For matches on a Saturday or Sunday, please see match specific opening hours. 

If you have bought a ticket in advance, Ticket Collections are from the Ticket Centre, times as above.

Q: How much are tickets?

A: Tickets for Rabo Direct Pro 12 and Heineken Cup matches are priced at £20 for Adults, £10 for Concessions (Concessions and OAPs only) and £5 for Under 18s. 

If you have purchase an adult “AnyGame” voucher it will cost £15, saving £5. AnyGame vouchers must be purchased by 5pm on the day prior to the game and cannot be purchased on match day).

Car Parking FAQs

Q: I am disabled – can I park at the stadium?

A: Yes.  Disabled spectators will be accommodated in the South Cark Park.  Access is via Gate B (adjacent to the railway) on Roseburn Street, and thereafter as directed by stewards. Disabled spectators arriving in cars will be accommodated as far as is reasonably practical and should arrive, as above, clearly displaying their blue badge.  Disabled patrons must purchase / collect tickets as relevant from the Ticket Centre prior to accessing the South Car Park.

Q: I’m not a season ticket holder – is there a designated car park for supporters like me?

A: No. We would suggest you arrive at the stadium early to ensure you find a space in the surrounding streets.  Please ensure you follow any parking restrictions in the area.

Q: I’m a season ticket holder for Edinburgh – can I park at the stadium?

 PDFPrint
A: Yes, season ticket holders ONLY can park in Saughtonhall Car Park, (behind Murrayfield Ice Rink), on a first-come first-served basis, with access from Saughtonhall Avenue. A car park pass will be sent to season ticket holders along with their season ticket booklet.

Q: How do I access the disabled terrace in the East Stand?

A: A disabled terrace has been built in the South East corner which can be accessed via the South Stand lift, located in the centre of the South Stand.

Q: What do I do if I’m a season ticket holder and I bring along a friend who isn’t but we want to sit together?

A: You won’t be able to sit in the season ticket holder section.  Please sit anywhere else in Lower East Stand.

Q: What facilities will be provided in the pitch side area?

A: Toilets will be available in the North West and South West disabled tunnels and catering units will be positioned at either end of the west standing area.

Q: Can disabled spectators access the pitch side viewing area?

A: Yes, disabled spectators can access the pitch side area via the North and South tunnels.

Q: Does that mean that we won’t be sitting in the West Stand this year?

A: This is correct; all spectators including disabled patrons and the media will be located in the East.

Q: How do I access the pitchside standing area?

 PDFPrint

A: There is various ways to access the pitchside standing, either from the North or South tunnels, or from either corner of the East Stand via the East Stand concourse. This will be clearly signed and stewards will be on hand to assist.

Q: Which stands will be open?

A: This season the Lower East stand sections 1-17 will be open to spectators. Spectators can also stand in the west, north and south pitchside standing area.

Q: If the clubhouse is full what other facilities are available?

A: The bar facilities on the East concourse will be open to all. You can visit the Wanderers Clubhouse with guests.

Q: Is there disabled access?

A: Yes – there is a newly installed lift which will take you to the bar area, located on the first floor.

Q: Will food be available?

A: Yes, hot food and snacks will be on sale in the clubhouse.

Q: How do I gain access to the Murrayfield Wanderers Clubhouse?

A: Please come through the turnstiles as normal, and then proceed to the clubhouse entrance. The facility is situated at the south west of the ground, adjacent to the railway line. There will be no access from beyond the stadium’s perimeter fence.

Q: If the clubhouse is full what other facilities are available?

A: The bar facilities on the East concourse will be open to all. You can visit the Wanderers Clubhouse with guests.

Q: How early should I arrive?

A: The clubhouse has limited capacity, and admittance will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Please arrive as early as possible to avoid disappointment.

Q: What payment options will be available at the bar?

A: The bar will be cash only

Q: Will under-18s be admitted?

A: Yes, provided they are Edinburgh season ticket holders or guests of Edinburgh season ticket holders and are accompanied by an adult. 

Q: Who is the clubhouse for?

A: To comply with licensing requirements, the Murrayfield Wanderers clubhouse will be a dedicated facility for Edinburgh season ticket holders and two of their guests who must be signed in. You will need to show your season ticket book to gain admission and all guests must be accompanied by an Edinburgh season ticket holder.

Q: What time will it open?

Q: Who should I contact if I have lost something at a match?

A: Initially contact the Police headquarters at Fettes on 0131 311 3131 or send your name, email address and details of item including where and when you lost it to john.litster@sru.org.uk.

Q: Is there somewhere we can go to get players’ autographs after the match?

 PDFPrint
A: Yes, the players will be signing autographs after the match in west trackside standing area by the team tunnel.

Q: Can I purchase a match programme for the match?

 PDFPrint
A: Team sheets are available at turnstiles for RaboDirect PRO12 matches.  Programmes are available to purchase at the 1872 Cup match and all Heineken Cup matches.

Q: If I feel unwell during the match, can I get help?

 PDFPrint
A: Yes, we have full medical team on duty for your safety and well being, including first aid, paramedics and doctors.  Please contact your nearest steward in the first instance.

Q: I would like an announcement made at half time for a birthday / proposal etc?

A: If you would like such an announcement, please email Julie Mills on julie.mills@sru.org.uk or contact us on Twitter by going to our homepage and clicking on the Twitter link a week before a match.  Please note that messages can be requested however cannot be guaranteed.

Q: Will there be a pass in / pass out section?

Q: Will I be able to smoke in the stadium?

A: Smoking is not permitted within the seating deck, concourses, suites or toilets, in line with recent legislation.

Q: Can I take my drink to my seat?

A: Yes

Q: Can you purchase alcohol in the stadium?

 PDFPrint

A: Yes.  The stadium will be licensed, with bars and food outlets opening in the East Stand concourse bar and pitchside standing area.  These facilities open with turnstiles and are available to spectators before and after matches. We encourage our supporters to drink responsibly

Q: What happens if I have special dietary requirements, though?

A: We will not stop anyone bringing food or drink into the stadium under these circumstances, providing that any soft drinks / water are in SEALED plastic bottles no larger than 500ml.

Q: Can I bring food into the stadium?

A: A variety of units catering all kinds of food will be located on the East Stand concourse area and pitchside standing area therefore there should be no requirement.

Q: Can I bring juice into the stadium?

 PDFPrint
A: As part of the stadium ground rules it is not possible to bring cans into the stadium however, a relaxation has been given to plastic bottles of soft drinks or water of up to 500ml.
Please note: the lid must be sealed and intact.   No alcohol will be permitted to be brought into the stadium.

Q: Is there a baby changing facility available?

A: Yes, these can be found in the disabled toilets located on the South East concourse or in the disabled toilets located on the lower concourse of the West Stand, at sections 9 and 27. Access is via the pitchside standing area only.

Q: Can I bring a buggy into the stadium?

A: No.  There is no facility for buggies and there is not a facility for buggy drop off and collection.

Q: Does my one-year-old child need a match ticket?

 PDFPrint
A: Children under 2 are admitted free of charge for RaboDirect PRO12 and Heineken Cup matches.

Q: I want to bring along my one-year-old child?

 PDFPrint
A: No problem, however we would remind you that this is a rugby match with a large crowd, music etc which may not be suitable for a child so young.

Q: Can I bring a rucksack or suitcase?

 PDFPrint
A: Small backpacks are permitted however suitcases or larger items are not.  Please note that rucksacks or similar may be subject to a search before entry.

Q: Can I bring an air horn/vuvuzela?

 PDFPrint
A: Yes however only mechanised air horns (blow through / wind up) are allowed - pressurised containers are not permitted.

Q: Can I bring a camera?

 PDFPrint
A: Yes, pocked sized cameras are permitted however large professional cameras are not.

Q: Since buying my ticket my mobility has been affected. Who can I ask for assistance and what happens if I’m physically unable to get to the seat I have a ticket for?

A: We would advise that you contact us in advance if there has been any change in your circumstances. However, if this is not possible, please contact your nearest steward on arrival.  We have a dedicated team in the stadium that will look after spectators mobility issues.

Q: I have difficulty using a turnstile – what should I do?

A: Please contact a steward at the turnstile area who will happily help with access through the nearest gate.

Q: I have been invited to hospitality at your match and don’t know which turnstiles I should use?

 PDFPrint
A: Hospitality guests can enter the stadium by any turnstile at Roseburn Crescent, Roseburn Street or the North Stand.

Q: How do I get into the stadium?

 PDFPrint
A: Turnstiles will be open at the North Stand, Roseburn Street and Roseburn Crescent (adjacent to the Ticket Centre).  In addition there will be turnstiles open behind the West Stand for Edinburgh season ticket holders only.
