Ben Gissing got himself into the party spirit ahead of Edinburgh’s End of Season Dinner on Wednesday with an eye-catching try during the final day win at Scarlets and says he has thoroughly enjoyed his debut campaign at The Castle.
The 32-year-old lock moved to the Scottish capital from Calvisano in the summer and played a hugely influential role in Edinburgh clinching fourth spot in the Magners League – the club’s highest ever finish. And the Kiwi-born Ireland A internationalist admits he has loved every minute of his time at Edinburgh so far; including running in a try at Stradey Park from 30 metres out. Ben is in for next season and you can join him in the team by signing up for a 2008/2009 Edinburgh Rugby season ticket, available at great value prices ranging from £150 for Adults through to the junior (under-18) rate of just £30.
