Hugo Southwell admits he was thrilled to contribute to Edinburgh’s epic 39-6 win over Glasgow in the opening instalment of the David Lloyd 1872 Cup and issued a rallying cry to the team’s supporters to attend the decider next Friday (2 January, kick off 3pm) at Firhill Arena.
The Scotland full-back produced a man-of-the-match award winning display as Edinburgh climbed up into second spot in the Magners League standings.

“It would be great to see lots of Edinburgh fans at Firhill on Friday for the decider because we realise it will be a tough challenge.”
