Luke Crosbie

A product of Livingston RFC, Crosbie transferred to Currie RFC as a teenager, where he progressed into the club’s first XV.

After impressing in the BT Premiership for Ben Cairn’s outfit – and improving his game as part of the BT Sport Scottish Rugby Academy - the back-row caught the attention of national selectors and was subsequently selected in the Scotland U20 squad for this summer’s World Rugby Under 20 Championship held in Georgia.

Having played a major role in helping the age-grade side to its highest-ever finish of fifth place, the 20-year-old was invited to Edinburgh’s St Andrews summer training camp.

The back-row made his debut for the club during October’s 16-15 Guinness PRO14 victory over Zebre at Myreside.

In December 2017, Crosbie signed his first professional deal with the club which will keep him in the capital for at least the next two-and-a-half years.

The back-row was rewarded for his fine form in both the Guinness PRO14 and Heineken Champions Cup when he was called into the Scotland squad for the 2019 Guinness SIx Nations.
