Tickets for the match cost £10 for Adults and £5 for under-18s and remember Monday 31 March is the last day postal sales. Tickets will continue to sell over the phone (0131 346 5180) for collection right up until Tuesday 8 April. Blair’s father, Robert captained the club in the 1970s and his younger brother David played for Accies last week; underlining a strong bond between his family at the Stockbridge-based team. As a result, Blair, who played his first-ever Adult match in the blue and white hoops, believes the match will be a great occasion to be a part of. Blair said: “I first played mini rugby at Edinburgh Accies when I was a child on a Sunday having watched the club game there on a Saturday, so it is a club that is very close to my heart. Edinburgh season ticket holders will be in with a chance of winning some great pirzes by handing in voucher D from the season ticket booklet on arrival to the ground. Please note that NO TICKETS will be available on the day of the match. Entertainment on the day: 4.30pm – Edinburgh Academy U15 V Edinburgh BATS U15, Edinburgh Academicals Mini Section and Edinburgh Academy Pipe Band. |

Scotland captain Mike Blair has backed Edinburgh Academicals’ match against Barbarians on Wednesday 9 April, kick off 6pm in a match to mark the club’s 150th anniversary.
