Edinburgh and Scotland hooker, Ross Ford, cut the ribbon, declaring Priorsford Primary School in Peebles open on Monday morning, 17 March. The front row forward, who was educated in Kelso, was delighted to officially open the biggest primary school in the Borders region.

Ford said: "It was a great occasion and I was really pleased to be there to mark the school's opening."
