PLAYERS VISIT SICK KIDS PDF Print
Tuesday, 18 December 2007
Edinburgh Rugby Club captain Allister Hogg and the players visited the Royal Hospital for Sick Children on Tuesday 18 December to distribute Christmas presents.
Sick Kids Foundation is the club’s official charity and Hogg revealed he feels very passionate about the cause.
Hogg said: “It is a good charity and we are proud to support it. We wanted to help out by providing some gifts.

“This time of year around Christmas time is all about kids and we know they want to be at home for Christmas. So we are hoping we can help make it as special as possible for the kids.
“The guys feel close to the charity for about the last eight or nine years and it is something we support whole-heartedly. By bringing some joy to the kids we get some enjoyment as well.”
Hogg, Scotland prop Allan Jacobsen, Scotland back rower David Callam and try scoring hero Ben Cairns were all at the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, 9 Sciennes Road, Edinburgh EH9 1LF and all said the trip was an uplifting experience.
