BROUGHTON SET TO VISIT CASTLE PDF Print
Thursday, 08 November 2007

ImageAs Edinburgh Rugby Club continues to galvanise prosperous relationships with local clubs, Broughton Rugby Club will be in attendance at The Castle on Saturday, 10 November for the blockbuster clash against Toulouse (kick off 3.30pm).
Broughton Rugby Club President Mark Brown revealed he was delighted when Edinburgh pulled his club out of the hat to receive Corporate Hospitality treatment at The Castle for the game.
The Scottish Hydro Electric East Region Division side were selected at random from those clubs who attended Edinburgh's Community pre-match Meeting against Ulster earlier on this season.

Brown, who at 34 is potentially the youngest President in Scottish Club Rugby, said: “It will be a tough game against the three times winners of the Heineken Cup and I am thrilled to be able to invite some of the guys involved within the club, including my Vice-President Martin Scott, to enjoy the game courtesy of Edinburgh Rugby Club.”
“I was enthused by Nic Cartwright’s vision for the Edinburgh Rugby when he was appointed as CEO back in August and with the new head coach Andy Robinson at the helm, it’s onwards and upwards for professional rugby in the Capital”.
After hoping to see Edinburgh get off to a winning start in the tournament on Saturday, Brown will be heading back to his clubhouse in the north of the city to join up with his players, who are in League action at Earlston that afternoon, for the Club’s Annual Dinner.
