| Thursday, 11 October 2007 | |
Craig Hamilton and Greig Laidlaw presented awards at the Linlithgow Mini Rugby Tournament last Sunday (7 October) and it proved to be a hugely successful ‘Wee Reds’ competition. The first team players watched some thrilling games of rugby on the day and the event was enjoyed by everybody in attendance.
The four participating clubs, Forresters, Biggar, Gala and Linlithgow all turned on the style and there may have been some future Edinburgh stars on show. Biggar won the P4 and P5 competitions while Linlithgow won the P6 and P7 trophies and everybody got to meet the players. This is just one of our innovative community initiatives designed to strengthen the affinity between Edinburgh players and the city’s people. After all this is your club and your city, so get closer to your team by coming on board.
