EDINBURGH LOOK TO GET MONKEY OFF BACKS

Edinburgh are looking to get a monkey off their backs tomorrow night when Cardiff Blues visit Murrayfield on Magners League business (kick-off 7.30pm).

In three league and Heineken Cup clashes with Dai Young’s team this season, the capital club are yet to win.

Young flanker David Denton, who will make his first Magners League start in Friday’s game, captured the challenge facing him and his team-mates by popping along to Edinburgh Zoo to meet a troop of Diana Monkeys.

As (bad) luck would have it, Edinburgh’s very own ‘Monkey’ (Alan ‘Monkey’ MacDonald) won’t be alongside Denton in the back-row tomorrow because of a shoulder injury.
