EDINBURGH HELP CHAS RAISE 60K

Generous Real Radio listeners have donated more than £60,000 to the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) after being inspired by a series of Presenter Challenges set by Edinburgh Rugby Club among others.

Mark Benstead, who presents the station’s lively football phone-in, was subjected to an intense ice-bath treatment as part of a range of stunts designed to encourage the public to dip into their pockets on Bring £1 To Work Day.

Mark is pictured here having a brrrrrrilliant time under the watchful gaze of Edinburgh strength and conditioning guru Andy Boyd, Elite Development starlet Chris Bloomfield, Real Radio pundits and Scottish football legends Alan Rough and Derek Johnstone, and Amy Telford, CHAS’ fundraiser for southeast Scotland.
