Some of the greatest rugby players in the world will be joining a special evening to celebrate the life of The Voice of Rugby, Bill McLaren.

The Bill McLaren tribute evening will take place tomorrow (Thursday 11 March) at Murrayfield, the home of Scottish Rugby (turnstiles open from 5pm – entry is FREE).

The gathering of rugby stars will see a quartet who have represented Hawick, Scotland and British Lions over the years, as Hugh McLeod, Colin Deans, Jim Renwick and Tony Stanger will all be sharing their thoughts and memories of Bill.

Edinburgh full-back Jim Thompson (pictured) will also be in attendance to honour his famous grandfather alongside members of the Scotland squad.
